Skilled Nursing is the most intensive level of care outside of a hospital. It’s for seniors who require around-the-clock medical supervision, rehabilitation, or long-term care due to chronic health conditions or serious functional decline. Services are provided by licensed nurses, therapists, and physicians.
Included Services:
- 24/7 licensed nursing care
- Medication administration
- IV therapy, wound care, catheter care
- Physical, occupational, and speech therapy
- Assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Meals, activities, and social services
Ideal for:
Seniors recovering from surgery or illness, or those with complex medical needs who cannot be supported in Assisted Living.
Average Cost:
$10,000 – $12,000/month
(Private pay; semi-private rooms may be less. Medicare may cover short-term stays after hospitalization.)
